The front runners. We are just a few days away from one of the biggest WWE events of the year with the Royal Rumble. The show will feature two of its namesake matches with the annual men’s and women’s editions. That should make for a big time event and it has major implications on the Road To WrestleMania. Now we might have a bit of an idea of what to expect.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Update On Brock Lesnar’s WWE Status

With three days to go before the Royal Rumble, John Cena and Charlotte remain the odds on favorites to win the Royal Rumble matches, according to Betonline by way of Cagesideseats.com. Seth Rollins and CM Punk are close behind Cena while Charlotte has a stronger lead. Both are returning to action for the first time in several months, with Charlotte wrestling her first match since injuring her knee in December 2023.

Opinion: When you look at the fields for the matches, these names certainly do stand out. Granted it helps when they are both former winners and two of the biggest stars WWE has ever produced. It would not surprise me to see either of them win and that opens up some doors for some interesting paths towards WrestleMania. That’s the whole point of the Royal Rumble and now we get to see where it goes.
