That’s a big one. While AEW and WWE get most of the attention around the wrestling world, there are other big promotions that are still going, even in the Coronavirus pandemic. One of the bigger promotions is still running their regular weekly television shows with no crowds just like the two major companies and even have a pay per view next month. Their card just expanded in a big way.

One of the biggest changes that Impact Wrestling has made in recent months has been the boosting of their Knockouts’ division. Several independent names have joined the promotion and there have been several storylines going on at the same time. This has changes the way the Knockouts have been presented and now they will be getting to showcase themselves in a big way on pay per view.

Impact Wrestling has announced a ten woman gauntlet match to crown a new #1 contender for Slammiversary on July 18. The match will see all ten women enter one after another until only one remains, with the winner receiving a Knockouts Title shot at some point in the future. The names included are Rosemary, Nevaeh, Su Yung, Kiera Hogan, Taya Valkyrie, Tasha Steelz, Alisha Edwards, Kylie Rae, Kimber Lee and Jessika Havok. Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace defends against Deonna Purrazzo on the same show.

The Knockouts have been on a roll as of late. Check out some of the participants in action:

Opinion: This is the kind of match that works well when there are so many people on the roster and it is a good idea to see what they can do on the big stage. It’s cool to see so many women getting a shot and having so many possible winners, as the division really has grown both in size and depth. Now just let them go out there and do their thing, because they’re all talented enough to make it work.

Who do you see winning the match? Who is the best recent signing for the division? Let us know in the comments below.
