You have to plan for a monster. Back at Survivor Series, a video aired announcing that Lars Sullivan was coming up to the main roster. Since then, the videos have plays on both Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live as a bidding war for the monster has begun for the new monster. That’s a good way to make Sullivan look like a valuable commodity, but it turns out that the story was originally something different.

According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, the original plans for Sullivan was supposed to be something different. Originally, the first Sullivan vignette was going to be air after TLC. The same bidding war would have begun between the two shows, with Sullivan making his decision at the Royal Rumble in late January. At the moment, there is no word on when Sullivan is going to debut.

The videos are getting more intense. Check out this one from this week’s Monday Night Raw:

The freakish Lars Sullivan will change the game: Raw, Dec. 3, 2018

Opinion: That sounds like a better idea than what we’re getting, but what we’re getting at the moment is far from the worst thing in the world. Sullivan has some presence to him and is going to make an impact no matter what he does on the show. Just let him go out there and be a monster, because that’s exactly the kind of thing that he needs to be doing on either show.

What do you think of Sullivan? Where would he have the most success? Let us know in the comments below.
