That could be worse. There are all kinds of potential injuries in wrestling and you never want to see someone get hurt in any way. An injury can happen in the middle of a match and that can change more than a few things. That was the case again this week as a match was reportedly changed on the fly, but now we have some better news on what happened and why.

This week on AEW Collision, Ricky Starks seemingly did not kick out as planned during a match and was pinned shortly thereafter. This led to fears that Starks had suffered an injury but it was not clear. Starks has since posted to his Instagram Stories by way of Fightful’s Robert DeFelice, saying the he is “all good” and the everything was checked out, as he was “being precautious”. In addition, the Ringer’s Cameron Hawkins is reporting that Starks suffered a stinger. There is no word on when he will be returning to the ring.

Starks is rather good when he is around. Check out what he can do in the ring:
Opinion: This could be a lot worse and hopefully everything is ok with Starks, who has already been out of action more than long enough with injuries. He is someone who feels like he could be a breakout star if given the chance but that is only going to work if he is able to stay in the ring. A stinger is not good but it could also be quite worse. Hopefully he is back in the ring sooner than later as it would be a shame otherwise.
