Yeah that’s big. Like any other wrestling promotion, WWE is built around its stars. The biggest names in the company are going to draw in more fans and a stronger audience than anyone else. That has been the case for pretty much all of WWE’s history and will likely be for a long time to come. It means a lot when a major star returns and we might be seeing a big one soon.
The WWE Women’s Revolution took the women’s division to heights that it had never seen before and a lot of that was due to the stars included. One name who went beyond all others was Becky Lynch, who became the biggest female star in the history of wrestling and was arguably the top star in all of WWE for quite a while. She has not been around lately, but that might be about to change.
During an interview on the Colin Cowherd Podcast, WWE President Nick Khan said that Lynch will be returning to WWE “at a certain point in time in the not too distant future.” Lynch has been out of action since WrestleMania 36 on maternity leave and gave birth to her daughter in December. There is no word on what Lynch will be doing when she returns, though she was part of Monday Night Raw when she left.
Lynch is a rather huge name. Check out some of her better moments:
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that is going to get some fans excited, but in a way I’m a bit surprised. At the end of the day, there is almost nothing left for Lynch to do in WWE as she went out as the top star in the division and had won pretty much everything she could win. I’m glad she is going to be back, but I’m really not sure what exactly there is left for her to do in WWE.
