That’s a unique one. There are all kinds of ways for a wrestler to get injured and some of them can happen out of nowhere. Those injuries are often worse as there is such little warning that they have a bigger impact. On top of that, it can be even stranger if the injury is not something you hear about very often. That is the case again and it happened to one of the biggest stars in WWE.
Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch was not present at this week’s Monday Night Raw, with commentary mentioning an incident with Bianca Belair over the weekend. Lynch posted to Instagram, showing herself in a hospital bed and saying that she suffered a fractured voice box in a match against Belair in Allentown, Pennsylvania on Sunday night. According to PWInsider.com, Lynch’s injury is legitimate and she will be out of action for about two weeks, which will put her back in time for her title defense against Belair at WrestleMania 38.

Opinion: That is one of those injuries you do not hear about very often and hopefully is nowhere near as bad as it sounds. Lynch is someone who gets so much out of her talking abilities and it would be a huge downgrade if she could not use them as well as she has before. In the more short term, her match with Belair is going to be a huge showdown and it would be a shame to see it postponed for any reason.
What do you think of Lynch? How will the WrestleMania match go? Let us know in the comments below.
