Beast Mode? Update On WWE's Plans For A Potential Brock Lesnar Return

Back at it? There have been countless wrestlers throughout WWE’s history but only a handful of them have reached the highest level in the history of the company. Having one of those names show up can be a special moment and that makes things all the more interesting. That is something WWE has been discussing about a rather controversial Superstar and now we know more about what might be happening.

Brock Lesnar has been missing from WWE or over a year now, having last appeared at Summerslam 2023. His absence comes as Lesnar was referred to in a lawsuit against Vince McMahon, which has resulted in WWE not being willing to have him appear. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there had been a discussion of having Lesnar appear as a surprise entrant in next year’s Royal Rumble, but that is not currently planned to happen. Until WWE’s leaders and legal team allow Lesnar to return, he will not be appearing, even if the company wants him to.

Opinion: This isn’t the biggest surprise as WWE would love to have one of its biggest stars ever back in the fold, but there is only so much that can be done when he has something that serious over his head. Lesnar is being named in something a lot more important than wrestling and that isn’t an area where WWE is going to want to go until everything is cleared. It might be annoying for the fans, but it’s the right way to go.
