Softening up? Earlier this year, WWE was shaken up with a lawsuit filed against former owner Vince McMahon. The suit alleged that McMahon sexually abused and trafficked a former WWE employee. There were other names listed in the lawsuit, along with others being hinted at without being officially named. Now we have an update on one such name possibly returning to WWE.

While not specifically named in the report, Brock Lesnar was identified as one of the people in question in the lawsuit. This caused Lesnar to be pulled from WWE creative plans, but recent reports suggest that some in WWE are attempting to bring Lesnar back. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has a “less hard line” to bring Lesnar back compared to someone like McMahon. That being said, a company source says there is nothing to suggest WWE is planning to bring Lesnar back at the moment.

Opinion: This makes some more sense, as it would have been hard to fathom Lesnar coming back after such a terrible situation. Lesnar is a major WWE star but at the end of the day, putting him back on television feels like something that would be quite the mistake. I’m not sure if Lesnar is ever going to return to WWE TV, but it does not really seem likely anytime soon.
