His opinion kind of matters. There have been a lot of wrestles over the years in WWE and some of them are a lot more famous than others. You know a successful wrestler when you see one and those people have made quite a nice career out of the wrestling industry. It might be worth listening to some of them and now one of them has something to say about a current WWE star.
WWE Hall of Famer Batista recently commented on the WWE’s Instagram post about Raw Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley defeating Asuka during this week’s Monday Night Raw. Batista commented “Seriously? Jobbing out Asuka?! WTF?”. Asuka wrestled twice on Monday Night Raw, losing to Ripley, who only wrestled once, in her second match of the night.
This is not the first time that Batista has praised Asuka before, as he also praised her on Twitter when Asuka was awarded the Raw Women’s Title for winning last year’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Asuka was named the new champion after Becky Lynch was forced to vacate the title by going on maternity leave on the May 11, 2020 Monday Night Raw. Batista is a six time World Champion in WWE and retired after his match against Triple H at WrestleMania 35.

@WWEAsuka is my fucking hero! https://t.co/fkEIS2DMfa

The two of them might be on to something. Check out the match that Batista didn’t like, plus the two of them in action:
Opinion: It’s kind of hard to argue with Batista on this one, as there was little reason to have Asuka lose to Ripley before they get to their title match on Sunday. Why have one of the people in a title match lose on the way to a triple threat match? It puts one of them on a losing streak on the way to the pay per view and that isn’t going to help anyone. This should be something basic, but odds are even a legend saying something won’t help anything.
What did you think of the loss? Who leaves with the title on Sunday? Let us know in the comments below.
