On the mend. Wrestling is a physical sport and there are going to be issues that can keep wrestlers from getting in the ring. At some point they are going to be banged up and need some time away from the ring to heal up a bit, which can lead to some breaks from their television appearances. That is the case again with a Monday Night Raw star, who will be gone for awhile.

According to PWInsider.com, Xavier Woods is currently out of action as he is a bit “banged up” and is out of action for some time to heal. There is no word on the nature or severity of Woods’ issues. Woods had been advertised for WWE’s upcoming holiday tour but he has since been removed. It is not clear when Woods will return to the ring. His most recent match took place on November 27.

Opinion: That’s nothing you want to see but at least it seems as if Woods is taking the break that he needs to heal up. Injuries can be a terrible thing for any wrestler but him taking the time to get better is a good thing. Woods is already part of one of the best teams in WWE history so it’s more than acceptable for him to take some time off and come back at full strength.
