It still huts. There are all kinds of injuries in wrestling and you never know when you are going to see a wrestler get hurt. Some of them are obvious, but there are others which are not going to be clear while watching a match. That can lead to some surprise reveals later, which was the case again after a rather impressive looking feat over the weekend in a big cage match.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Yes, Again: WWE Sets Another Record At Survivor Series
Over the weekend at WWE Survivor Series, Jimmy Uso took part in the men’s WarGames match. During the match, Uso dove off the top with a Superfly Splash through a table. Jimmy’s brother Jey spoke about the spot during the post show media event. Jey revealed that Jimmy suffered a broken toe performing the splash. There is nothing to suggest that Jimmy will miss any time as a result.
It was a wild match. Check out what happened:
Opinion: That is something that is going to happen occasionally as WarGames is quite the violent and wild match. Diving that far onto a mat, and table, below is only going to make it more dangerous. Thankfully the injury isn’t far worse, as it could have been something a lot more devastating to Uso’s career. For now though, he’ll probably be in pain, but not out of action, which could be far worse.
