That’s a big one. Injuries can be one of the worst things to happen to any wrestler as they can be taken out of action at a moment’s notice. You never want to see someone get hurt but unfortunately there is little way around it. Some wrestlers get banged up over time and are forced to take a break, which seems to be the case again with a current champion who has taken a few hits.

According to PW Insider Elite, current Ring Of Honor Tag Team Champion Rey Fenix is not cleared to wrestle. Fenix was not at this week’s Dynamite and is not booked for this weekend’s TripleMania in Mexico. There is no word on any specific injury but Fenix is described as being “banged up”. He last wrestled at Battle Of The Belts VI last week, where he and his brother Penta El Cero Miedo defeated QT Marshall and Powerhouse Hobbs. It is not clear when Fenix will be returning to action.
Fenix has been a star in AEW. Check out some of his time in the company:
Opinion: Hopefully Fenix is back in the ring sooner than later, as he is one of the best high fliers around today. Fenix can do some things in the ring that almost no one else can approach and it is amazing to see him getting in the ring and showing everything he can do. It isn’t a surprise to see Fenix banged up as he does all kinds of dangerous spots, which apparently have caused him some issues.
What do you think of Fenix? What should he do when he gets back in the ring? Let us know in the comments below.
