Not so fast. There are a lot of talented stars in the wrestling world who are not part of either WWE or AEW. Some of those wrestlers are among the most talented in the world and either major promotion would love to have them on their roster. It can become very interesting when someone gets caught in a bidding war between the promotions and that is the case again.

Earlier this week, a report surfaced that former Ring Of Honor World Champion Bandido had come to terms with AEW on a contract. However, according to Bandido himself in an interview with Mas Lucha, he has NOT yet signed a deal with AEW and is still in negotiations with them. Bandido has also received an offer from WWE and there is no word on which way he is leaning.

Opinion: Now this makes things more interesting as I’m not sure what is going to happen. Bandido is one of the most talented stars in the wrestling world these days and, assuming he wants to sign, he is going to wind up somewhere. That is going to be quite the coup for either promotion as you do not see that kind of talent available every day. Bandido being the subject of a bidding war is no surprise and now it could be the start of something bit for him.
