Get well soon. There are all kinds of injuries that can take place to a wrestler at any given point in time and you never want to see one take place. These things can take place during a match and can alter how a match is going to go. Unfortunately that was the case again this week and it happened to take place during one of the biggest matches of a wrestler’s career to date.

This week’s AEW Dynamite featured Jon Moxley defending his IWGP World Heavyweight Title against Powerhouse Hobbs. According to Wrestling Observer Live, Hobbs suffered some sort of a knee injury during the match. The match was cut short due to the injury. It is not clear how the injury took place or how severe it may be. Hobbs could be seen being attended to after the match.
It was a bad situation. Check out the match, plus Hobbs on a healthier day:
Opinion: That does explain a bit about the situation as Hobbs was not looking like he normally would. It is a shame that he was hurt on such a big night and hopefully he is able to get back in the ring sooner than later. Hobbs is starting to figure out what he needs to be doing with his natural skills and it would be a shame to see him out of action for a significant length of time.
What do you think of Hobbs’ time in AEW? What should be next for him? Let us know in the comments below.
