That just sounds bad for Sullivan. We are coming to the end of the year and that means it is time to look back at what happened over the course of the last twelve months. That means there are going to be a lot of things that you might remember and others that you might not remember. One of these is a pretty detailed story and now it might be even longer before we move forward.

A story that might have slipped your mind is Lars Sullivan, who was promised to debut late in 2018 but did not show up until just after WrestleMania. Then it was revealed that he had made several homophobic statements on a bodybuilding forum and was punished with a hefty fine. However, none of that wound up meaning as much as his knee injury, which took him off television in June. Now, it might take a long time before we see him again.

According to Fightful.com, Sullivan’s return date is now scheduled for June 2020. This comes after an initial date of January 2020, which has now been moved back as Sullivan’s injury is said to be healing more slowly than originally expected. Sullivan’s last match came on the June 1 episode of Monday Night Raw when he defeated the Lucha House Party in a handicap match. This was only his second televised match on the main roster.

There isn’t much to pick from here. Check out Sullivan’s last match to date:

Opinion: I know Sullivan was not the most popular person in the world due to all of the backlash against him but that is a pretty terrible thing to have happen to him. Being out for a year over a single injury is an awful situation and it could be even longer. At this point it would not shock me to see him never wrestle again and that is a shame after how much potential he showed.

Did you like Sullivan while he was around? Will he ever wrestle again? Let us know in the comments below.
