Welcome back Beast. When Brock Lesnar won the Universal Title at “Wrestlemania XXXIII” last month, one of the first questions was how often would he show up to defend the title. We knew that he’d be defending the title at “Great Balls of Fire” (yes it’s still called that) in July but now we know a few more details.

According to Dave Meltzer on “Wrestling Observer Radio”, Lesnar is scheduled for the July pay per view and “Summerslam 2017” in August but the rest of his dates aren’t clear. There will certainly be more dates following though and he will be wrestling more often than he did in his previous WWE World Title runs. At this moment, Lesnar is likely to defend against Braun Strowman in July and probably Seth Rollins and Finn Balor at some point before “Wrestlemania XXXIV”.

Opinion: That would be an improvement but the key is how Lesnar performs when he’s actually there. No one benefits from having Lesnar squash him everyone out there over and over like he’s done for years but if someone can get close, it makes them look great. There are ways around having Lesnar not around that often and if WWE plays their cards right, it’s not a horrible deal.
