Can you blame them? There are a lot of wrestlers under the WWE umbrella and while that can offer a variety of options to see in the ring, not everyone is going to be able to make it onto a show. At the same time, there may be a lot of shows in WWE, but that does not mean there are enough spots to go around. It might be getting even worse and the wrestlers aren’t happy.

Earlier this week, news broke that WWE would be limiting the amount of events that wrestlers would be working during February and March, possibly in an effort to keep the talent rested and healthy before WrestleMania in early April. The plan makes sense and can also serve as a way to lower expenses for the company. However, not everyone is pleased with the result.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, some wrestlers are not happy with the new schedule as their income will be lowered due to not working as many dates for the company. The changes came as a surprise to the roster, who only found out about the reduced schedule when they were given their assignments for February. The top stars in the company are doing fine financially but this is going to make things a little worse for the lower card wrestlers.

Big stuff can still happen at these live events. Check out some moments at some of these:

Opinion: This must be annoying for the wrestlers but given how the company’s financials have been going as of late, I can’t say I’m surprised that they are making some changes. Unfortunately it could hurt the lower card a lot more than the main eventers, which si going to be a bigger hit for them. Maybe things will get better later, but it isn’t exactly encouraging for the wrestlers not making a fortune at the moment.

How should WWE make this better? What is the company’s biggest problem at the moment? Let us know in the comments below.
