Fightful Select has updates on both Santana and Ortiz. Santana, who has not wrestled since Blood & Guts in June 2022 due to a torn ACL, is now cleared to return to the ring. Santana’s former partner Ortiz, who has not wrestled for AEW since March, has been pulled from a booking with Limitless Wrestling next weekend, with an explanation that it was due to “an AEW-related obligation”. The team has split over a personal issue, though it is said to be “not impossible” for them to work together in the future. There is no word on when either will be back on AEW TV.
They have the talent. Check out the two on their own and together:
Opinion: It’s nice to hear that the team, or at least its members, might be on the way back to the ring at some point in the future. Santana and Ortiz are both talented stars and while it would be great to have them back together, even having them back on their own is better than nothing. If nothing else, there is always something great about having some fresh blood in the company, and after that much time, they would fit the description.
What do you think of the two? How should they both be used? Let us know in the comments below.
