Back Soon: Popular Star Set To Undergo Hernia Surgery, Expected Recovery Time

Get well soon. Injuries are one of the worst things that can happen to a wrestler and you never want to see someone put on the shelf for any length of time. There are some that take a wrestler out of action immediately but there are others that can be worked through for a bit. Those have to be fixed up too though and now a popular star is having to deal with such a situation.

Last month, Eddie Kingston revealed that he was dealing with a hernia and would probably need surgery to deal with the problem. Kingston appeared at this weekend’s Ring Of Honor tapings and said that he was scheduled for surgery to fix his hernia this coming Tuesday. As a result, he is expected to be out of action for about six weeks. Kingston has said he has been dealing with the issue since last year.

Opinion: This is one of those situations that has to be fixed and there isn’t much of a way around it. Kingston is quite the talent but there is only so much that he can do while dealing with this kind of a medical issue. The surgery should fix him up rather well though and he can get back to doing what he does so well, this time without the hernia slowing him down that much.
