He’s done for now. Wrestling has changed in a variety of ways in recent years and several of them have been very positive. Now wrestlers are able to appear on shows around the world, with fans being able to see all kinds of stars in different places. However, that can create some issues, one of which was on display this week as a wrestler had to be written off of television.

This week on AEW Dynamite, Bullet Club Gold attacked Jeff Hardy, including hitting him in the face with a roll of quarters. According to Fightful Select, this was designed to write Hardy off of television before AEW goes to Canada. Hardy is not allowed to enter the country due to his criminal record and will be back on AEW television once the tour of Canada is over next month.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that has to happen from time to time and thankfully it is due to Hardy’s past and not his present. Hardy is a person with all kinds of issues, and hopefully he is able to keep them together this time. For now, he is going to have to be away from the ring and the good thing is that this is something he has dealt with before. He’ll be back soon enough, and hopefully everything stays together.
