He’s back? The biggest wrestling story of the year has been the departure of Vince McMahon from WWE and wrestling as a whole. For the first time in decades, WWE does not have a McMahon in charge and it has been a huge shakeup. This has led people to wonder what will be next for McMahon himself, and now we have a better idea, albeit without wrestling being involved.

According to PWInsider.com, McMahon will be launching an entertainment company, which will develop, finance and produce film and television projects. Former WWE executives Brad Blum and Kristen Prouty will be part of the company, with Prouty being WWE’s former connection to Hollywood. Kevin Dunn is NOT expected to be part of the company. The company is not expected to focus on wrestling.

Opinion: This is something fans have been curious about for a long time now as McMahon made so much money from selling his company stock that he clearly had something in mind. I’m not sure how well this is going to go, but McMahon does not have the best track record outside of wrestling. He isn’t likely to get back into wrestling anytime soon though, so maybe it’s worth a try.
