Back At It: WWE Announces The Return Of AJ Styles

Welcome back. There are certain stars on the WWE roster who can make an impact no matter what they are doing. Even if they have not been around for a long time, it can be a big deal when they come back to television. That can make for a special moment and a lot of excitement when such a return is announced, and that was what took place earlier this week.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Hold On? Update On The Lucha Bros’ AEW Contract Status

This week on SmackDown, a vignette aired announcing that AJ Styles will be returning to the show next week on October 4. This will be Styles’ first appearance since Clash At The Castle in June, though he has wrestled on various international and non-televised shows since then. There is no word on what Styles is going to do on the show and no other wrestlers commented on his return.

This could be big. Check out Styles’ time in WWE:

Opinion: This has me curious as well as interested, as Styles has been away from WWE for such a long time and could be put into just about any spot on the roster. It should be interesting to see how people react to him, as he very well could be closing in on the end of his in-ring career. It’s good that WWE has him back and now we get to see just what he is going to be doing as he comes closer to the end.
