Welcome back. There are all kinds of people who come together to make a wrestling event work and many of them do not ever get in the ring. This would include the broadcasting team, who are tasked with steering the show in the right direction. That is easier said than done, but having the right team makes it work. Now one of the most popular names in recent years is getting back into the broadcasters’ booth.

During a new interview with Chris Van Vliet, Scott D’Amore has revealed that former WWE broadcaster Mauro Ranallo has agreed to be the new voice for D’Amore’s Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling promotion. Ranallo has been away from wrestling since 2021 but has been broadcasting mixed martial arts and boxing. The promotion’s first event is set for October 19 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

Opinion: This is something that could make a nice impact, as Ranallo is a person that fans have been wanting to see again for a long time now. He is one of the best broadcasters of his generation and that is someone worth bringing in to any promotion. Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling has one quite well with this and I’m curious to see just how well things go for them in the future.
