He’s back. Injuries can be some of the worst things to happen in wrestling as you never want to see someone put on the sidelines for any amount of time. That can chance all kinds of things for any wrestler, but there are other health issues which can do the exact same thing. One top AEW star has done just that, but now we are going to be seeing him again, just in a slightly different place.

New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced that former AEW and IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega will be appearing at their Power Struggle event in Osaka, Japan on November 4. There is no word on what Omega will be doing on the show and nothing suggests that he will be getting physical. Omega has been out of action since December 2023 due to diverticulitis. There is no word on when he will be returning to AEW TV or wrestling again.

Opinion: This is rather encouraging and I’m curious to see what Omega does at the event. Maybe this is little more than a special cameo, but it is great to see him getting back to some kind of wrestling event is a good thing. Hopefully he is able to wrestle again though, as you never want to see someone left out of action for any amount of time, especially the better part of a year.
