He wants in? AEW has come a long way in a short amount of time and last week, they achieved a new major accomplishment. All In will be taking place at Wembley Stadium in London, England later this year and has already sold over 60,000 tickets. The show is attracting some attention, and now it might be attracting attention from a long retired British star.

According to Wrestlingnews.co, former Ring Of Honor World Champion Nigel McGuinness has filed a trademark for his ring name and another for his real name earlier this month. This comes after McGuinness said that if All In sells out, he might have to dust his boots off. There is no confirmation that McGuinness, 47, will be coming out of retirement or that he is serious about a return to the ring. McGuinness’ most recent match took place on December 17, 2011.

McGuinness has had quite the in-ring career. Check out some of his matches:
Opinion: McGuinness coming back would be a very cool moment, though I’m not sure I can imagine it being one of the bigger matches on the card. I could absolutely see him popping into a tag match or getting a quick chance to shine, but some kind of a featured match would be a little hard to fathom. Still though, the idea of the show drawing this many fans is impressive enough, and I would be amazed to see it actually happen.
