Back? 43 Year Old Former World Champion Reportedly Returned To WWE In November, Yet To Appear

He’s in. There are several very talented wrestlers on the WWE roster, which means that it can be difficult to come up with something for everyone to do. WWE occasionally has trouble giving everyone a spot on television and wrestlers can be left on the sidelines for a very long time. That seems to be the case again now, as a former World Champion has not even made his television return.

According to Fightful Select, former Impact Wrestling World Champion Eric Young is back to WWE and has been under contract since November. However, Young has not been on television or mentioned in any way. There is no word on why Young has not been used or when he might be making his return to television. Young previously wrestled for WWE from 2016-2020 before returning to Impact Wrestling, where he wont he World Title for a second time.

Opinion: This is one of those things that WWE does and it rarely makes a ton of sense. The company has had him around for about six months but for some reason he just isn’t used anywhere. You would think there would be a spot for him somewhere, but the waiting just continues. Young could be used in several ways, if nothing else to freshen up the roster a bit. That hasn’t happened just yet, but maybe it will soon enough.
