Awkward Confession: Sasha Banks Revealed Childhood Crush On Current SmackDown Star

That could make things awkward. Wrestling has changed quite a bit in the last few decades, as WWE has allowed wrestlers to stay in one place for a lot longer than they might have back in the territory days. That means wrestlers are going to be seen for a good while, which in this case led to a rather unique situation between two wrestlers, one of whom is a good bit older.

According to the Sportster, Sasha Banks was interviewed by MTV’s Total Request Live in 2018 and revealed that when she was a child, she had a crush on SmackDown’s Sheamus. Banks, 14 years younger than Sheamus, said that she thought Sheamus was cute when she was a child. Sheamus is currently a SmackDown star while Banks has been absent from WWE since walking out on the company in May.

Opinion: This is something that makes for a good chuckle and there is nothing wrong with that every now and then. Banks would have been about 16 or 17 years old when Sheamus was getting started on the main roster and it would have been hard to fathom that they would ever work together. It’s still a funny situation and I’m sure the two of them have had a chuckle over it at least once.
