At It Again: AEW Star Rumored For Return To The Ring After Year Plus Absence

Welcome back. With such a loaded roster, AEW can have a hard time keeping everyone in the company busy. That is not the worst problem to have, as there is always the chance that someone will be able to shine when given the chance. That might be the situation again with an already established star who has been away from the ring for a rather important reason.

According to PWInsider.com by way of Cagesideseats.com, there was word backstage at last week’s AEW Collision that Tay Melo could be close to returning to AEW television. This comes as Melo has been out of the ring for over a year due to maternity leave. There is no word on when she could return to AEW TV or what she could be doing. Melo was reportedly back in the ring training for a return to the ring last month.

Opinion: This should be a good thing for AEW, as Melo was becoming a much bigger star before she took her leave of absence. Melo could easily be added back into the division in a variety of places and it could be quite the boost for AEW. Hopefully she is back sooner rather than later, as she has already been gone for a long time, albeit for a rather good reason.
