He appeared. There are times when you will see a wrestler who just captures the fans’ attention. It is the kind of thing that you know when you see and it often leads to someone receiving one of the biggest pushes of their career. That is what we might be seeing again now, and it happened to take place again at a show where the company’s cameras were not rolling.

Joe Hendry made a surprise appearance at the NXT live event in Davenport, Florida on Friday, teaming with Je’Von Evans and Shiloh Hill against Gallus in a losing effort. This comes as Hendry has been appearing on NXT from time to time, though this is his first appearance at an NXT live event. Hendry is still contracted to TNA Wrestling, where he appeared this week on Impact Wrestling.

It’s gone well so far. Check out Hendry’s time in NXT:
Opinion: This is where things can be very fun, as Hendry getting to show up and surprise the fans is not something you see too often. It makes fans wonder what they might see at such a show and that is probably going to drive some ticket sales. At the same time, it lets Hendry get even closer to NXT, where he almost has to wind up when he finishes up with TNA later on.
