That’s all the more impressive. Injuries are one of the worst things that can happen to any wrestler and you never know when one of them is going to take place. That can make them even worse than expected, no matter what a wrestler is doing at the moment. It seems that a rather prominent WWE legend recently suffered an injury but went through with a major match anyway.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: It Almost Got Serious: How A Weird WWE Star Almost Got Triple H Fired

At WrestleMania 39, Trish Stratus teamed with Lita and Becky Lynch to defeat Damage Ctrl in a six woman tag. During an appearance on Busted Open Radio this week, Stratus revealed that she wrestled the match with a partially torn hamstring. Stratus said that the driving force to make her participate in the match was to prove that she could still hang with the modern women. Following the match on Monday Night Raw, Stratus turned on Lita and Lynch, costing them the Women’s Tag Team Titles.

Stratus has been on a roll as of late. Check out what she has been doing:

Opinion: This kind of news makes what Stratus did all the more impressive. She managed to wrestle a pretty nice WrestleMania match despite a pretty serious injury, which is a lot more than many could say. At the same time, Stratus dodged a near bullet with that kind of an injury, as it easily could have been enough to keep her out of the match. Now she can let it heal up and get back to feud with Lynch, which should be awesome.

What did you think of Stratus’ performance? How will the Lynch match go? Let us know in the comments below.
