Him too. WWE has been making some changes to the roster in recent months as several wrestlers have been let go from the company in recent weeks. It is a huge deal when someone leaves the promotion as it frees up a roster spot and often allows a wrestler to go somewhere else where they might be used more frequently. Now another name can be added to that list.

Cameron Grimes has posted a video to Twitter, announcing that he has been released from WWE. Grimes, 30, had been wrestling on the SmackDown brand after being drafted from NXT in the 2023 Draft. There is no word on what led to his release. Grimes is the sixth wrestler to have been released from the company in the last week. It is not clear if more will be let go.

Opinion: This is one of those names that doesn’t surprise me but it does disappoint me. Grimes is someone who could have been a bigger deal but he was never given much of a chance on the main roster. Odds are he’ll get a shot in another promotion as he has the talent to be a star, especially coming right off of a WWE run where he absolutely had his fans.
