Unfortunately, it’s no bull. “Legends With JBL” has been one of the WWE Network’s more interesting series with some of the best in-depth interviews put up in a long time. Host John Bradshaw Layfield has found exactly the right balance of humor and actual questions. However, it seems that the series is coming to a close.

In response to a fan’s question on Twitter, Layfield said that there are no more episodes scheduled to be filmed after the upcoming Jimmy Hart episode. Layfield doesn’t mention a reason for the series ending but does seem to leave a door open for a return down the line at some point in the future. This announcement comes on the same day as news broke that the “Stone Cold Podcast” isn’t likely to continue either.

If this is true, it’s a shame. I really enjoy these interviews and for the life of me I can’t imagine why they would be canceled. They can’t cost much to produce (it’s two WWE people sitting in a room talking) and you can control the questions if need be. As usual, the WWE Network starts up an interesting series and then wraps it up for no apparent reason.
