According to PWInsider Elite by way of Bodyslam.net, some in WWE are believing that Drew McIntyre will be back “in the mix” by the upcoming European tour and Money In The Bank in particular. McIntyre has not been seen on WWE TV since WrestleMania 39 amid a contract and creative dispute. He did however appear at the opening ceremony of the Special Olympics World Games as an official WWE ambassador earlier this week.
McIntyre being back would be a huge boost. Check out what could be returning to WWE:
Opinion: Should McIntyre be back, it would be a great boost for WWE, as they certainly need something to help make Money In The Bank feel that much bigger. Giving the fans something closer to a home country star would help a lot and it would be nice to have someone of McIntyre’s caliber back. If nothing else, McIntyre being a regular on WWE TV again would be nice to have, as it doesn’t feel quite the same without him.
What do you think of the possible return? How would you use McIntyre in WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
