Those names are the ones who will get the most attention and most of the limelight, which can make for some important moments. At the same time, there are occasions where those top stars need to take some time off and now we are seeing that take place again.

Over the weekend at Night One of WrestleMania 40, Rhea Ripley defeated Becky Lynch to successfully defend the WWE Women’s World Title. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Lynch is expected to take some time off from WWE, though she is not expected to be gone long. There is no word on how long she will be gone. This comes as her husband Seth Rollins is also taking time off from the company to recover from his knee injury earlier this year.

Opinion: This is something that makes sense as Lynch lost a huge match and is going to need some time to let things breathe a bit. It will be good for Lynch to get away for a bit and let things reset. She is one of the biggest names in WWE and having her back fresh down the road can help boost WWE up quite a bit. If nothing else, WWE will have time to come up with something new for her, which is often the point of such a hiatus.
