Welcome to the team. It is no secret that the WWE roster is in a state of flux at the moment. Things are changing all over the place with wrestlers either being let go from the company or showing up on another roster. That can make for some fascinating changes and surprising moments, and now we know another name who is making the move from NXT to the main roster.

This week on SmackDown, a vignette aired announcing that Toni Storm was coming to the show. There is no word on when Storm will be arriving. Storm has wrestled a pair of dark matches this month before Monday Night Raw and SmackDown as part of a series of tryouts for NXT wrestlers on the main roster. The vignette aired on the same night that Tegan Nox and Shotzi Blackheart debuted on the show as well.

Storm signed with WWE since 2018, following an appearance in the 2017 Mae Young Classic. Storm would go on to win the 2018 Mae Young Classic at Evolution before becoming part of the NXT UK roster. After losing a tournament final for the inaugural NXT UK Women’s Title, Storm would go on to become the second champion, holding the title for about seven and a half months. Storm would move on to NXT In 2020 and challenge for the NXT Women’s Title on multiple occasions.

Storm has all of the skills. Check out what she can bring to SmackDown:

Zoey Stark vs. Toni Storm: WWE NXT, May 18, 2021

FULL MATCH - Toni Storm vs. Io Shirai - Mae Young Classic Finals: WWE Evolution 2018

Rhea Ripley vs. Toni Storm: WWE NXT, Dec. 16, 2020

Opinion: This is not the biggest surprise as Storm has seemed ready to become the biggest star in the women’s division for a long time now and already has some credentials. I’m curious to see what she does on SmackDown and it isn’t like there is a logjam on top of the show’s women’s division. Storm could be a major deal on SmackDown and hopefully she can live up to even some of the hype.

How will Storm do on the show? Who should she face first? Let us know in the comments below.
