He’s worth a look. Producers or agents can go a long way in making a wrestling match work. Having a group of people behind the scenes to help guide the matches and see where they can make various upgrades makes quite the improvement. Using their knowledge and experience can go a long way and now a familiar name is helping out behind the scenes in AEW.

According to PWInsider.com, Scotty 2 Hotty worked as a producer and coach at this week’s AEW Dynamite tapings in Albany, New York. He is currently working on a tryout basis and is expected to be around in a similar role for the next several weeks. This comes after he left a similar role in WWE last year. This comes the same week as Chris Hero was signed to be a full time producer in AEW.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that AEW needs to do as bringing in some outside voices and minds can go a long way in the company. If the wrestlers will listen to them, the coaches and producers can help the wrestlers figure things out in a different way. Scotty 2 Hotty is a smart choice to bring in and I could go for having him around full time if he is interested in the role.
