His new home? AEW has changed the way the wrestling world works as it offers wrestlers another large stage promotion to join. This is something that several former WWE Superstars have done but AEW also brings in stars who have never spent time there in the first place. That might be what they are doing again with a talented star who is done with his previous promotion.

This week on Impact Wrestling, former TNA World Champion Josh Alexander wrestled what was billed as his last match with the promotion as his contract is expiring. According to Fightful Select, Alexander is expected to sign with AEW. It is not clear if the deal has already been finalized, but it is believed to take place soon if it has not been done. There is no word on when Alexander could appear on AEW TV. Alexander is a former two time TNA World Champion and is the longest reigning World and Tag Team Champion in company history.

He’s quite good. Check out what might be coming to AEW:

Opinion: This doesn’t feel like the biggest surprise, as Alexander to AEW does feel like a good fit. He has quite the resume and has been a big part of the last few years of TNA. Alexander has more than earned the right to have this kind of a chance and I could go for seeing how he will do on the bigger stage. It seems like a matter of time before that happens and that is an intriguing possibility.
