I hope they didn’t get rid of the old posters. Next Friday, WWE will be airing the Greatest Royal Rumble. At the moment, the card will feature seven title matches, a special match between Triple H and John Cena and a casket match with the Undertaker. However, the question is who he’ll be facing. When the match was originally announced, Undertaker was scheduled to face Rusev. Since then though, Rusev was swapped out for Chris Jericho. Now, we have another change announced.

Maybe they should do this again.

Chris Jericho’s “Highlight Reel” with Rusev & Lana: Raw, December 15, 2014

In a pair of tweets today, Rusev has been moved back into the match in Jericho’s place. Rusev’s wife Lana, whose objections had gotten Rusev taken out of the match in the first place, has now granted him permission to compete. With her permission, WWE has put Rusev back in the match and as of now, he is confirmed to be facing Undertaker. At the moment there is no word on what Jericho will be doing on the show, but an appearance in the Royal Rumble match would be a possibility.

Opinion: Well ok then. There’s not much of a reason to switch Rusev and Jericho out but at the end of the day, there’s no way Undertaker is losing here anyway. Undertaker is a bigger star than either Rusev or Jericho so losing to him is hardly a big downgrade. Rusev being on the show makes more sense if you look at it as a regular show, but Jericho is a far bigger deal in the grand scheme of things. Having him on the show could draw in some extra eyes, certainly more than Rusev is likely to do anyway. Hopefully the match winds up being good though, which is what matters most.

Who do you want to see in the match? Will Rusev get back to where he used to be on the card? Let us know in the comments below.
