Down Again: Another AEW Wrestler Confirmed To Be Out With An Injury

Put her on the list. Injuries are one of the worst things that can happen in wrestling as they can derail anything in the blink of an eye. You never know when you are going to see someone put on the shelf, leaving everyone waiting to see when they are can return to the ring. Now we know a bit more about a missing wrestler, who apparently has also suffered an injury of her own.

During the media call to promote AEW Worlds End, AEW President Tony Khan revealed that Britt Baker is out of action with an undisclosed injury. Baker has not wrestled since September 16 and has rarely been mentioned on AEW TV. It is not clear when she will be able to return to the ring. Khan also mentioned that Pac, Kenny Omega, Adam Cole and Jamie Hayter are injured as well, though all of their injuries were previously known.

Opinion: This does explain a few things, as Baker has been gone for the better part of four months. At the same time, it’s never good to see someone else get injured and it happens a lot in AEW. While we don’t know what is going on with Baker to put her on the shelf, she is another name on a fairly long list of injured AEW wrestlers. That needs to change, and I’m not sure how AEW can go about making that better.
