Well, it made me hungry. You’re familiar with the Scott Steiner Numbers Don’t Lie promo. It’s one of the best promos and segments that Impact Wrestling has ever put together and it’s still remembered all these years later for a good reason. Even Samoa Joe discussed it a few weeks back. Well as it turns out, someone with a little more mainstream appeal has just gotten in on the fun.
For a reference:
Wendy’s restaurants has tweeted their own version of the Steiner promo, albeit with language talking about how their burgers are bigger and better than restaurants that use frozen beef. The series of tweets was prompted by someone tweeting a clip of Samoa Joe shouting OH WENDY from this week’s SmackDown Live. This isn’t the first time that Wendy’s has referenced wrestling, as last year they tweeted in a very Broken Hardy style and have also referenced Ronda Rousey in WWE. Here are the tweets:
You know they say that all burgers are created equal, but you look at a Baconator and you look at Frozen Beef and you can see that statement is not true. See, normally if you go one on one with another cheeseburger, you got a 50/50 chance of winning.

But we’ve got never frozen beef and that’s not normal! So you got a 25%, AT BEST, at beat us. Then you add Jr Bacon Cheeseburger to the mix, your chances of winning drastic go down. See the drive thru at lunch time, you got a 33 1/3 chance of winning,

but we, we got a 66 and 2/3 chance of winning, because the king KNOWS he can't beat us and he's not even gonna try!?So frozen beef, you take your 33 1/3 chance, minus our 25% chance and you got an 8 1/3 chance of winning at lunch time. But then you take our 75% chance of winning
— Wendy’s (@Wendys) August 23, 2018
if we was to go one on one, and then add 66 2/3 per cents, we got 141 2/3 chance of winning at lunch. See Joe, the numbers don't lie, and they spell deliciousness for you at Lunch time.

Opinion: I don’t even know what to say to this. There’s something hilarious about catering to wrestling fans like this, though I do wonder what anyone who happened to see this without being a wrestling fan thought was going on. It’s a hilarious promo and it’s always cool to see wrestling getting some attention like this. Well played Wendy’s, and now I could go for one of their chicken sandwiches.
What else do you want to see Wendy’s imitate? Is this the best Impact Wrestling promo ever? Let us know in the comments below.
