According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the first Saturday Night’s Main Event of 2025 will likely air on January 25. The idea is to present four Saturday Night’s Main Events a year, with NBC determining the dates. The show will be a week before the Royal Rumble and just over a month after the December 14, 2024 Saturday Night’s Main Event. December’s event will be the first new episode in over 18 years.
The show has a history. Check out some Saturday Night’s Main Events over the years:
Opinion: That is quite the turnaround, but at the end of the day, NBC is going to decide when the specials air and that is what matters. WWE is lucky to have this kind of an opportunity and they would be insane to turn down such a chance. For now though, it seems that we are going to be getting the shows back to back, which could give WWE a bit of a challenge.
