Not yet? We are done with WrestleMania 40 and that means it is time to start things up for WWE going forward. According to Fightful Select, Drew McIntyre’s current WWE contract is expected to expire in the next few months and he has currently not signed a new deal with the company. This is based on what McIntyre is said to have told people close to him. While it is not normal for WWE to leave contracts so close to their expiration before signing a new deal, it is becoming more common. McIntyre has been on a roll. Check out what he has been doing lately:
Opinion: This is something that keeps coming up and while it is almost hard to fathom that WWE will not re-sign McIntyre, the closer they get to the expiration date, the scarier things get. Hopefully everything comes together as McIntyre has been doing so many great things as of late and it should be interesting to see what he does if he sticks around. If nothing else, I could go for seeing him face CM Punk, and that might take a little time.
What do you think of McIntyre’s recent work? Who would you like to see him face next? Let us know in the comments below.
