All Timer: Mercedes Mone May Have Set A Record When She Signed With AEW

That might be a record. There are all kinds of wrestlers throughout the world and some of them going today are among the best ever. We are also in a new era in wrestling where stars are able to make more money than ever before and the numbers are going even higher. That is the case again with a recently signed star, who may be reaching a level never before touched.

Last week, Mercedes Mone made her AEW debut and revealed that she had officially signed with the company. According to PWInsider.com by way of Cagesideseats.com, both WWE and AEW offered Mone a contract which would have been valued at over $10 million over the course of its run. This is believed to have been the most valuable contract for a woman in the history of wrestling.

Mone is certainly a star. Check out what she has done in AEW and WWE:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that is a good sign for the future of women’s wrestling as Mone is a top star in women’s wrestling and she is being well paid for what she is doing. You do not get to see that and it shows you just how far women’s wrestling has come. Mone has already done quite a few things in WWE and hopefully she can top those successes in AEW.
