Back in a bit. AEW has one of the most impressive rosters in recent memory and a lot of that is due to how varied everything really is. There are some incredibly talented wrestlers on the roster and it makes for some rather awesome shows. There is not always room for everyone though and now one of them will be heading away, at least for a little while, to work another show.
Hikaru Shida has announced that she will be returning to Japan to appear on the Makai Genesis ReBoot show on February 4 at Kameari Ririo Hall. There is nothing to suggest that this will be anything more than a single match and Shida is not expected to miss extended time from AEW. Shida is a former AEW Women’s Champion and has been feuding with Serena Deeb in recent weeks.

Shida has been a star in AEW. Check out some of what she has done in the company:
Opinion: This sounds like the kind of thing that could be rather fun, as AEW wrestlers tend to be. There is something cool about having wrestlers you see on the big stage getting to go elsewhere like this, as it isn’t like this is going to hurt AEW. Shida is one of the bigger stars in the AEW women’s division but she is getting the chance to go showcase herself elsewhere. You don’t get to see that very often and it’s a rather cool moment.
What do you think of Shida? Who should she face next in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
