They’re interested? There are all kinds of stars throughout the wrestling world and it can be a big deal when one of them is ready to move over to another promotion. It happens every so often, occasionally when someone is released from a company. That is what we are seeing again, and now another promotion might be interested in bringing him in. However, it might be a bit more complicated than that.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Why WWE Released Sonya Deville, What They Didn’t See In Her

Earlier this week, Cedric Alexander announced that he had been released from his WWE contract. According to Fightful Select by way of Cagesideseats.com, there are several in AEW, including the Hurt Syndicate, who are pushing AEW to sign Alexander. However, there is a chance that the way Alexander’s wife, Big Swole, left AEW could be an issue. Alexander is not able to sign anywhere for 90 days as part of his no compete clause.

Alexander is quite good. Check out what he has done in WWE:

Opinion: It would make sense for AEW to bring Alexander in for this role, but at the same time, that roster is already absolutely massive. I’m not sure they need to do that, but it would be something that makes sense. For now, it certainly seems like something that could be interesting and it would not surprise me to see it happen, as the Hurt Syndicate being back at full strength could work well.

What do you think of the idea? How would Alexander do in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
