Call him a people person? AEW has put together a very nice roster in its still limited history. The company has gone from non-existent to one of the bigger promotions in the world in a very short amount of time. Part of this has been due to the wrestlers that they have around every week, many of whom were not major names when they first debuted. They had to come from somewhere and it turns out several of them were from one place.

AEW President spoke during the post All Out media event and mentioned that Maxwell Jacob Friedman had personally recommended several current AEW wrestlers. Some names that Friedman recommended include Kris Statlander, Leyla Hirsch, the Acclaimed and Bear Country. Friedman recommended several of them as they trained with him at the Create-A-Pro wrestling school.

That’s quite a list of talent. Check out some of the wrestlers that Friedman recommended once they got to AEW:

I Bet Penelope Never Saw That Coming. Kris Statlander is Back! | AEW Dynamite, 3/31/21

The #1 Contender for the NWA Women's World Championship is Set | AEW Dynamite: Homecoming, 8/4/21

Were the Acclaimed able to Handle Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? | AEW Dynamite, 5/19/21

Bear Country vs Jurassic Express with Marko Stunt | AEW Dark 12/22/20

Opinion: This is one of those hidden talents that you do not get to see very often but it works out very well for a promotion. AEW can not get out there and see every wrestler, but they know that they can trust certain wrestlers. Friedman has done some great things in AEW, though this might be even more important. Bringing in some more wrestlers for the future is one of those things that only certain wrestlers can do and it has worked out well so far.
