That’s a good place to start. Women’s wrestling has come a very long way in the last few years and thankfully that seems to be continuing in more than a few places. Several women have emerged as the stars of the new generation and there is nothing to suggest that it will be changing anytime soon. Now we might even know an upcoming major match on the horizon.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, AEW may be planning a major Britt Baker vs. Thunder Rosa Women’s Title match for early next year. There is a chance that it will take place during the Revolution pay per view in March, though a specific date has yet to be announced. Rosa defeated Baker earlier this year in an unsanctioned match before Baker won the title.

This should be awesome. Check out what we might be seeing again:

Opinion: This isn’t exactly a huge surprise and there is nothing wrong with that. Baker has been the Women’s Champion for a long time now and this is the match that AEW has been building to for almost her entire reign. They have some serious expectations to live up to and I believe that the two of them are capable of living up to them, which is a nice situation to have.

What do you think of the idea? Who would you have winning? Let us know in the comments below.
