The roster keeps growing. Despite all of its success, AEW is still a very young company. They have only been around for a little under a year and a half now, with Dynamite not even around for a full year so far. Their roster is still changing at a pretty frequent pace and that is a good thing with so many wrestlers moving in and out. Another name has now officially been signed.

One of the criticisms that you will hear about non-WWE companies is that they bring in a lot of WWE rejects. That is a pretty unfair statement as there are very few top name wrestlers who have not wrestled for WWE at some point. Just because they wrestled for WWE before does not make them a reject. AEW has picked up another former WWE wrestler and that is a good thing for both sides.

AEW has announced that Tay Conti, formerly known as Taynara Conti in NXT, has been signed to the company. This comes after Conti appeared in the AEW Women’s Tag Team Tournament. Since then, her tournament partner Anna Jay has attempted to get her to join the Dark Order. Conti had her first match as an official member of the roster during this week’s Dynamite, losing to Nyla Rose.

It was a nice signing. Check out how it went on Conti’s first night:

Opinion: This is hardly surprising as Conti had appeared for AEW both during and after the tournament. The company’s women’s division is hardly the strongest at the moment and adding in some extra names could do them a lot of good. Conti has experience on a bigger stage and offers a different set of abilities than some of the other wrestlers in the company. I’m not sure how it is going to go for her, but at least she has a chance.

What do you think of the signing? What do you see Conti doing in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
