Welcome to the family. Since its inception, tag team wrestling has been a big part of AEW’s structure. The company has placed an emphasis on the tag team division and that is not something you often see in a major wrestling promotion. It has gone rather well for AEW so far but sometimes you need bring in some fresh talent. That is what they have done, and it is very fresh indeed.
One of the ways that AEW has had so much early success is by presenting a mixture of established veteran talent and younger, lesser known names. This is a smart way to go as you have the wrestlers people are familiar with but also a group that the fans get to know over time. Those people can be the company’s future and now AEW has just added to that future.
AEW has announced that they have signed Dante and Darius Martin, collectively known as Top Flight, to full time contracts. Top Flight appeared on multiple episodes of Dark and then faced the Young Bucks during last week’s edition of Dynamite in a non-title match. The team has already won a match on Dark, suggesting that they were going to be around for the time being. Top Flight was trained by Ken Anderson and Molly Holly.

They have done well so far. Check out Top Flight’s time in AEW:
Opinion: Good for them and good for AEW. Top Flight looked rather impressive in their limited appearances so far and it is great to see someone getting a chance and then capitalizing on it. I could go for more of the team and hopefully they make the most of their opportunity. You have to start somewhere and that is exactly what Top Flight has been given.
What do you think of Top Flight? Where do you see them going in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
