Yes him. Live events are a special kind of show from WWE as you are not going to get the same thing you see on regular WWE television. It can make for some interesting and unique combinations which can occasionally tease things that are coming on the major shows. Other instances are one off moments which offer something different, and that might be what we saw this weekend.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Happy Together: WWE Planning New Stable For Chad Gable Following Heel Turn

WWE is currently holding a four city tour of the United Kingdom. Each of the shows are expected to include a World Heavyweight Title defense from Damian Priest. The first show saw Kofi Kingston receive a title shot as scheduled, while the second and third shows have seen Xavier Woods getting the shot instead. There is no word on why the change took place, though while Woods accompanied Kingston for his match, Kingston has not accompanied Woods. So far, there are no reports of Kingston suffering any kind of an injury.

Woods has had his singles matches before. Check out some of his solo efforts:

Opinion: I’m not sure if this is due to an injury or something similar, but at the end of the day, Woods getting a title shot is something fun for a change. I could go for seeing Woods getting a singles run of his own, as he has never really gotten much of a chance. Odds are this doesn’t go anywhere long term, but it’s cool to see it happen, even on a smaller scale like this one.

What do you think of the change? How would a Woods’ singles run go? Let us know in the comments below.
